The Long Climb spiral-bound performance log on a gaming desk beside an RGB keyboard.
One player log shown. The Team Pack includes 10 logs + a Coach Quickstart Guide.

// THE GAP

Your program may already have VOD review, practice blocks, and match results. The Long Climb adds the player's own record: what went right, what needs work, and what keeps showing up across games.

One match gives you something to review. A run of logged games gives you something to compare.

Keep the result. Look for the pattern.

Use that record to choose the next adjustment — not another list of everything that went wrong.

// THE LONG CLIMB // TEAM PACK

ONE ROSTER. ONE REVIEW SYSTEM.

The Long Climb is a physical performance log built for competitive play. The Team Pack puts one in each player's hands, with a Coach Quickstart Guide to help your coach put the same review rhythm into practice.

10-PLAYER TEAM PACK

$399 USD

10 physical copies of The Long Climb
One log per player. Wire-O bound to lie flat next to a keyboard.

IN EACH LOG:
1 BASELINE // 50 SESSION LOGS
10 REVIEW BLOCKS // 1 SEASON RECAP

One page covers up to ten games: the result, one thing done right, and one thing to fix. Players read back every fifth log page, then compare their season review with the baseline they set at the start.

1 Coach Quickstart Guide
How to fit the logs into practice: where to start, when players write, and how to run a review without turning it into a blame session. The practice-block routine and team debrief prompts are included in this guide.

Players bring one recurring pattern and one next adjustment into the discussion. The coach uses those observations to guide review, rather than collecting or grading private logs.

THE SESSION LOG

The filled example included in the book. See how short the entries are: what went right, what to fix, and what the player tried.

Review block from The Long Climb, with prompts for what worked, what would not hold, what improved, patterns, the good ones, and tilt. OPEN FULL-SIZE REVIEW

THE REVIEW BLOCK

The review page after every fifth log page. Read back for what worked, what wouldn’t hold, what improved, and what kept repeating.

// HOW IT FITS INTO PRACTICE

SET THE BASELINE

Players start with where they are now and what they want to change in their play.

LOG THE GAME

After each game: the result, one thing done right, and one thing to fix. A few words — not a match report.

BRING THE PATTERN TO REVIEW

After every fifth log page, players read back and identify what repeats. Each player brings one pattern and one next adjustment into the team discussion.

// WHAT THIS GIVES YOUR COACH

A CONCRETE STARTING POINT

Start the debrief with player observations: what held, what broke down, and what needs another rep.

A RECORD TO RETURN TO

Compare what a player is working on now with earlier entries, rather than relying only on the last result.

The log supports your coaching. It does not replace your game knowledge or VOD review. Players keep their own books and choose which observations to bring forward.

No player accounts required. Short entries, not essays.

// QUESTIONS

What comes in the 10-player Team Pack?

Ten physical copies of The Long Climb plus one Coach Quickstart Guide. The guide includes the practice-block routine and team debrief prompts. The player books are the same Long Climb logs sold individually — not a different edition.

Do coaches collect or grade the logs?

The suggested routine does not require that. Players keep their logs and bring one recurring pattern and one next adjustment into review. Coaches work with those selected observations, rather than inspecting every entry.

Does it fit the games our program plays?

The result, “did right,” and “fix next” fields can be used across competitive titles. The stat and role fields will fit some games more closely than others; players can leave fields blank when they do not apply. Tell us your titles when you request a quote so we can discuss the fit.

Can we order fewer or more than 10 logs?

Request a quote for your roster size. For individual copies without the coach guide, shop The Long Climb.

What will shipping cost, and when will our pack arrive?

Your quote confirms the delivered total, including shipping and any applicable taxes, plus the expected production and delivery times before you commit to an order.

Can our school use a purchase order?

Yes. A line-item quote, invoice, and W-9 are available on request. Include any district purchasing requirements when you request your team quote.

Your players already put in the hours.

Give them the layer that turns hours into a climb.
